Services
Over the years myself, Paul and our two children have shared our home with our very much loved pets who have come in all shapes and sizes ranging from rats, hamsters, rabbits and cats. As a family of animal lovers we were delighted to move to our small holding here at Greenacres in 2007, to not only be lucky enough to care for all of our boarding guests but to also offer a fabulous new home to our chickens, sheep and donkeys.
Licensed by East Staffordshire Borough Council and run as a family business by Paul and Nicola Bowers, the cattery has established a reputation for quality and service, which we look forward to being able to share with you and your feline friends. Whilst staying with us your cat can expect secure, cosy, spacious accommodation, cleaned and maintained to a high standard and to be treated individually.
The majority of our cattery suites are designed for a maximum of two cats sharing; however our additional 8 family suites, can accommodate up to 4 cats. Cats sharing rooms must of course be from the same home! Each of our full height rooms are complete with a heated sleeping area, freshly laundered beds, as well as igloos.
These boarding fees are per day/ part day and include maid service, a good range of foods, bedding, cat litter and heating as required. We accept payment by cash, cheque or BACS transfer with 50% desposit required to secure your booking and 50% balance due on or before collection. In our reception area we have a small shop with a range of pamper products, homemade catnip toys, accessories and treats available.
Booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment is always the best option, however we like to think we are able to offer a fairly responsive service no matter how 'last minute' it may be. Once we receive your booking request, we will send you an email / letter with the details you will require to forward your 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking.

We were so glad to find Kingstone Pet Boarding in time for our half-term vacation! Not only did we receive excellent customer service, from checking in to receiving daily updates on our bunnies, but we also received great peace of mind knowing our little fury family where in the best of hands! Some Amazing setups in their small animal unit, and they paid special attention to our sweet girl with epilepsy. I wholeheartedly recommend and will be bringing our troop back in the future (if you’ll take them 🙈)!

Kingstone Pet Boarding are just amazing. The place is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is relaxed (relaxing music played to the small animals) and the animals are happy. I have used the pet boarding a few times now and totally trust the care that my pet receives. Nicola is so caring with the animals and so knowledgeable, she does a fantastic job. I would highly recommend 5***** star.

The friend who normally looks after my cat is unavailable, so I called Kingstone. Even though they are fully booked, Nicola went out of her way to help me, asking about his boosters, and then offering an alternative for me. 100% for customer service, even though I wasn't going to be a customer!

My cats stay here regularly when I travel and there is nowhere else I would rather them be. Nicola and her team are so attentive and kind and really make me feel good about leaving them. The facilities are immaculate and the cats always seem happy after their stay. I especially love the photo updates on Facebook, where you can see what they’re getting up to.

By far the friendliest and most accommodating cattery I've ever used. My cats always seem so comfortable and happy when I return to pick them up. The stress of leaving them is made so much easier by Nicola and her team. Bonus that they post pictures on Facebook and Instagram while you are away so you can check in to see how they are doing :)

Kingstone Pet Boarding is great because we can drop our cat and our rabbit at the same place and know that they'll be thoroughly looked after! The convenience of having both in one place isn't the only reason we chose them though, Nicola is brilliant and both the cattery and the small pets area are immaculate, and the animals get plenty of space. Plus the added bonus of a Facebook page that Nicola uploads pictures to, so you get to see your pet whilst you're away!
