I grew up with hair pins, rollers and the smell of perm solution wafting through my bedroom. My dad was a hairdresser and we lived in the flat above the salon, I was enticed and excited by this glamorous and creative profession, I knew this was where I wanted to be and that one day my dream would come true.
It was then that I realized that its not glamorous! In fact its hard graft, sore hands, aching feet, long hours and a logistical nightmare trying to manage creative staffs tantrums and the books! 4 years down the line and life changed for both of us, I had gotten divorced and she went on to have another child.

I haven’t had my hair cut since 2019 and they did such an amazing job! I had a big cut and they did a lovely job, all the staff were really nice and polite. Like a lot of people I had cut my own hair over lockdown and no one judge the state my hair was in. I want to give a big thank you to Aimee who was training, they are a credit to the salon. Will definitely be returning!

I booked a last minute appointment, through Treatwell. This was my first visit. The salon is in a stunning building and I love how it’s been decorated; there was a good atmosphere too. Ben, washed my hair and… was really chatty and lovely. Lily cut my hair. She really took her time and made sure it was just right. I was really pleased so thanks very much!

Ruby and the team are wonderful ! Ruby spent time to talk about my hair and habit to keep the hair style. The girls are great to keep the salon nice and clean. Make me feel comfortable and safe to enjoy the service there. They are amazing on curly hair. I used to have straight hairs for many years, today I see my new face with curly!!

Amanda and her team at Dry have kept my hair in great shape for the past couple of years. From the salon owner to the team she trains, everyone understands the look I am after and they have kept my hair healthy and looking great with fantastic cuts and amazing colour. This weekend, visiting for the first time after lockdown restrictions were lifted, I was greeted with the same amazing service with care and attention where safety measures were clearly evident. My mum has been having her hair done by Amanda for as long as I can remember and would recommend her and her girls to anyone. After becoming unhappy with my previous salon, I came to Dry and booked in with Liv.… Honestly, I was a bit nervous at visiting a new salon, but when I came in I felt immediately at home. All the girls are so chatty and bubbly and actually make you feel like they’re happy to see you, which isn’t always the case in every hairdressers! Liv did an amazing job with my hair and I left with exactly what I wanted. I’ve attached a pic of the Khloe Kardashian

The most amazing salon, the facilities are not only top of the range and modern but are also extremely beautiful. I went to Dry as a groupon to try it out and Liv did my hair - that was 2 years ago and i have never gone anywhere else. The staff really make you feel at home and welcome and they are all extremely talented in what they do. I would give 10 stars if i could.

I now live in Yorkshire, but will continue to travel the 2 hours to Dry every couple of months for Olivia to look after my hair, because no-one else has ever looked after my hair so well, gotten it exactly as I want it, or given such a great experience consistently every time I've been there for the last three years. She looked after my colour needs all the way up to my wedding and all of the team are a friendly family who make each visit a pleasure. Today was no exception, and I look forward to my next visit!

This was my second visit to dry and again I had my cut and colour done by Katie. She makes you feel so comfortable and explains every step of the process in detail and advises you exactly of what colour will work best on you. Amanda at Dry never lets me down (and that’s after at least 10 years). I once again have walked out of the Dry hair salon with my head held high and feeling a million dollars. Could not be happier with the service I received at Dry this week. All of the staff were so lovely and friendly while I was there and Katie was an absolute star even when I was being picky about what I wanted. So happy with the finished result and I’ll definitely be coming back again in the future! 😊
