Run by Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford, this site provides useful information on how to write, spell, construct a report etc. If you are unsure as to the difference between who and whom, or a semi-colon and colon, try "punctuation"!
There are a number of ways in which Starbuck James can help organisations to appoint high quality executives to key positions. We first gain a clear understanding of the role. We familiarise ourselves with your company's business, its strategy, challenges, culture and people, and the characteristics and skills the successful candidate should possess.
If the route chosen is Advertised Search and Selection, Starbuck James will advise as to the most effective way to attract the best candidates through targeted advertising. Our first consideration is whether a client-branded advertising campaign is necessary. We invest heavily in high-end executive job boards, and we may well advise that advertising under our own branding could generate the quality and volume of candidates needed.
While Advertised Search and Selection is a very effective way of attracting quality executives, an alternative methodology is Executive Search and Selection, where specific potential candidates are identified and proactively approached. Under many circumstances we recommend that an advertised campaign be supported by this service.
