Throughout our time attending the clinic the staff have been amazing. My son was made to feel incredibly comfortable by Jim who explained everything thoroughly with regards the procedure (Removal of ingrown toenail) and in the short time we saw him built a good relationship with him. The follow up care was exceptional. The whole team at Active Step were nothing but friendly and professional and I would, 100%, recommend them.

I attended Active Step Foot & Ankle Clinic last night with Alice for a muscular skeletal assessment before commencing training for the London Marathon. It was enlightening!
From the way I stand and walk to detailed analysis of my running gait. I now know how I run and what to do to be a more efficient runner.
I also came away with:
✅ a full set of exercises to specifically target strength and conditioning for me.
✅ a recommendation of what running shoes to avoid and what to look for in a shoe.
✅ a set of custom made 3D printed orthotics to better support my foot, ankle, knees and hips

My son has just had his ingrown toenails treated here. From first enquiring telephone call through to surgery we have been very impressed. Alice was brilliant, taking time to explain things thoroughly and was extremely friendly and caring throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Active Step to family and friends.

My son was having treatment here for the best part of a year with Jim. Although at times the treatment was difficult I don't think my son would have persevered with it if it wasn't for Jim. He was absolutely brilliant with him and interacted with him throughout every appointment. He is an amazing asset to the clinic. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic (the team are always so helpful and friendly) and Jim is the first name I'd recommend to anyone! Thank you very much I have a very happy teenager!

The whole team at the Active Step Foot & Ankle Clinic was very welcoming and it was a very helpful and much needed experience. My body has taken a lot over the years and it was all explained to me very clearly, and also the equipment available is superb and I have also been taken through all the options going forward to improve my current situation.

Alice well very friendly and took the time to explain everything she was doing. This helped me understand both the current issues and the reasons why orthotics are needed. She clearly explained the costs and was very understanding that currently I cannot go forward due to personal circumstances but that I can go ahead when ever I want. Brilliant service, highly trust and recommend to anyone.

I had to take my Dad, who sadly slags dementia, it’s always a worry taking him to new places, and asking him to get his feet out in front of a stranger filled me with dread!
However I can not praise Jim at active step and foot clinic enough. From start, booking the appointment, having to cancel because my Dad was having a bad day. The receptionist was kind and so understanding and changed the appointment.
Right through to getting there and Jim doing my Dads feet. He made my Dad and me at ease, made him laugh and understand all the way what was happening and explaining exactly what was wrong

Definitely recommend Active Step, all the team are amazing and customer service is exceptional. Alice was lovely with my 10 year daughter who been suffering with heel pain last couple of months, and we both came away understanding everything she told us, and the recommended exercises etc. Highly skilful and friendly staff 😀

I was lucky enough to be assessed by Alice and Emily. They were both brilliant - so knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to my injury and what I wanted from the appointment and then did a thorough assessment of my whole lower limb including gait analysis. I am now waiting on some orthotics. I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough. Fantastic team.

Had my first appointment With Emily today. Emily's knowledge is fantastic. I am a keen trail runner and have been having chronic pain for about three months. Within 30 minutes the issues had been identified and we were working on a plan to help treat the problem hopefully in time for my next race in July. I can't recommend highly enough.

Having put up with foot pain for years just thinking it was as a result of being overweight and standing at work for too long (I’m a chef) I finally decided enough was enough. Emily was fantastic really listened and identified the problems. She explained the diagnosis really clearly and hopefully the treatment plan will see me hobbling less!! Really impressed just wish I had gone to see her sooner!
