Services
Ear wax is a substance produced by the glands situated within the ear canal. It has the task of stopping small dust particles and bacteria from reaching the eardrum which could possibly cause additional issues, including damage to the eardrum itself. It is natural to have wax in the ear, in-fact we need some to keep the ears healthy, lubricating the skin and preventing dust and bacteria from entering.

I approached The Hearing Centre some years ago after my disillusionment with services received from other providers. The treatment and understanding I received was brilliant, and in no time at all the immediate problems were sorted out . After receiving excellent advice I was fitted out with a much more suitable set-up. I have not looked back. The patience and understanding have been great throughout.
The recent attention and understanding I have had during a bad fall, operation and month long stay in hospital have been far beyond expectation.

Nantwich Hearing Centre saved the day when wax in both ears caused my mother to become totally deaf a few days before her 100th birthday. Both the receptionist and audiologist were very friendly and professional ensuring that she enjoyed her celebrations and was able to talk to family and friends. Thank you

Called Nantwich Hearing Centre this morning for an appointment for ear irrigation due to a blocked ear canal. Managed to fit me in at the last minute, and service was fantastic. Irrigation was quick, painless, and 100% explained every step of the way. Total relief. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

I'm writing this under my husbands name as I don't have a google+ account ! I found Alan extremely helpful, informative and not at all patronising. He explained in great detail what my hearing problems were and spent a lot of time listening to me and testing my hearing. I found the whole experience very uncomplicated, Alan went to great pains to help me with my hearing problems over a number of visits. As a keen swimmer I not infrequently get related ear problems. Alan at Nantwich Hearing Centre undertook a careful history of my problem and a careful examination explaining all of my options and ensuring my comfort throughout. I decided to have custom fitted ear plugs made which arrived in around 10 days. A fantastic individual service from a local family business whom I would recommend without hesitation

I'd been putting of my deteriorating hearing problem for some time, not particularly attracted by the big names on the High Street. So glad, therefore, that I found the Nantwich Hearing Centre whose knowledge of the many facets of hearing loss is impressive. Having bitten the bullet, I can honestly say that the professional, friendly, impartial advice and subsequent service I have received has been first class. I've know Alan Jackson (the owner and audiologist at the Nantwich Hearing Centre) since he first embarked in his career as a hearing aid audiologist. He is one of the best audiologists I know, who prides himself in offering a professional service with a personal touch. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.
