Services
Greenaway is a recycling facility for segregated green waste arising from the commercial sector and local authorities. Contact us for the legitimate disposal of green commercial waste and ensure your business is compliant with waste legislation. We also provide a range of grounds maintenance services, from mowing, hedge cutting and treework, stump grinding, wood chipper and digger work also available with wood splitter and flail.
Spring is finally here and we are delivering our organic garden compost, quality blended top soil and wood chip. Available in loose loads from 1 tonne upwards. Our compost is produced to PAS 100 certification, this ensures that we are composting to current standards and our product is of the highest quality.
On delivery to the site all green material is sifted through to remove all contaminates. It is then shredded to reduce the particle size which speeds up the breaking down process. The shredded material is formed into a windrow and given a batch number to ensure traceability. We then monitor the temperature and moisture levels and turn the windrow weekly to introduce oxygen.

Had a couple of lots of compost (produced to PAS 100 standard). The compost is of high quality. It was delivered quickly and efficiently (with no contact due to the Covid Pandemic).
The compost is great as a soil conditioner or mulch but we are using it for the now popular 'no dig' method of veg gardening, with great success.
We also had some wood chips which are great as an alternative to bark for the paths around our no dig beds.
This is an excellent local business which needs local support. This is where your green bin waste ends up, It is important to create a demand for the product.
