Since we started in 2001 the business has grown from a garden waste composting business based near Aberdeen to a national organics waste management company. We received a 2.2m investment from the Business Growth Fund in 2015 and have expanded operations across Scotland and England, and acquired an eight-acre site in Linwood, near Glasgow.
Since this expansion, we have become the largest food and garden recycling business in Scotland and now collect throughout the UK. We run a fleet of specialised food waste collection vehicles designed for rural locations, cities and suburbs. We operate a night and day service, 7 days a week with a kitchen caddy service for customers with smaller amounts of food waste.

We currently work with over 100 partners to carry out food waste collections on their behalf throughout the UK, some of which include the following. All of our trucks are fitted with scale systems that weigh each bin separately. The weights of these bins are reported back to the customer, so they can keep track of how much food waste they are producing.

The food waste collected from your business breaks down in anaerobic containers. This breakdown creates biogases, methane and carbon dioxide, and a by-product, digestate.

I'm all up for recycling but sending a truck to a residential area to empty large bins at 6.15am in the morning?!? Have a bit more consideration for people please, I got the fright of my life getting woken up by the noise made by your truck. And I'm sure I wasn't the only person either. There's families around here too..... not good!
