Buttercup Corner Day Nursery is a family run business, Owned and Managed by Kimberley Woodward. We take children from Birth to 5 years in the nursery and up to 11yrs old in the Out of school club. Kimberley's extensive background in childcare and more importantly achieving OFSTED ratings of "Outstanding" in her previous settings, ensure that Buttercup Corner will be the right choice for you and your family.
In all our play rooms we have interactive screens where parents can sign their children in and out, record medications and any bumps or bruises that may have happened at home. Every child has their own online learning journey, this belongs to you the parent. We hope you will join us by adding lots of photos of the exciting things you do at home.

Services
Having worked in childcare for the past 20 years, I am devoted to providing the highest quality of education and care to all children who I am blessed to work with. Buttercup Corner is our first nursery and from conception to creation every little detail has be really thought through to ensure we get it right from day one.
Here, babies learn to sit up, roll, crawl and eventually take their first few steps. Following on from the wonderful start life they will have had at home, our staff are trained to meet each baby's individual needs and routine. Our Poppies (and their keyworkers) love to get messy, from paint, sand and water that is on offer all the time, to jelly play, gloop and play dough - these are just a few of the sensory opportunities we plan daily.
Buttercup Nursery offer after school clubs with pick ups and drop offs at New Moston Primary School, Whitegate End Primary School and St Margaret Mary's School. We aim to ensure the children have the opportunity to play, relax or do homework. At the end of a busy school day, children will be offered a snack tea and fruit and lots of opportunities planned by them.

Just like that Aurora’s time at Buttercup has finished. I cannot thank Kimberley and her amazing Team enough for all of the support, cuddles, laughs and smiles you’ve given her over the last 4 years. She’s made… memories and friends she’ll have for life and Buttercup will always be part of our family. You’ve helped mould her into the superhero she is today and we couldn’t be more grateful and she couldn’t be more ready for starting big school- all thanks to you!

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!! My daughter has been going to nursery now for over 6 months and has come on leaps and bounds with her development. She has the biggest smile when we arrive and is always greeted by loving and caring staff who go above and beyond to ensure she has the best time at nursery. Day sheets are clear and full of… information of the exciting day she has had. We use an app called spark where I can see her observations and pictures which is lovely to see how much fun she has in a safe, secure and educational nursery. WE LOVE BUTTERCUP CORNER DAY NURSERY

I would recommend this nursery a 5/5, a 10 if I could! All the staff right up to management are friendly and helpful at all times. After a tough start in life I was very worried about putting my daughter in… childcare but she is so happy l, looked after and cared for by all the staff at Buttercup corner! Every day she is exploring different toys and learning new things whilst having fun in a safe friendly environment. If I could bottle up the enthusiasm, smiles and kindness of all the staff and sell it the world would be a much better place to live! The food variety is fantastic offering

This place is just perfect for all children in their formative years. Truly an Educational Day Nursery. The owner, Kimberley and her fabulous staff are so “tuned in” to the day to day requirements of young, growing minds. They constantly come up with ways to stretch the children’s minds and imagination. The place oozes play, fun and love.

Cannot thank the staff in the baby room enough..made my baby feel so comfortable and settled in only her first week of joining.. always smiling and happy and have always got time for me as a parent if I have any questions etc.. highly recommend this nursery and thank you to all for making my return to work a little bit easier 💗
