We have just recorded a single with my band Saboteurs with Hamish at Phoenix Sound. It was my first experience at properly recording and he was awesome. He talked me through everything and gave advice about gear, sound and tone. Not only that but he has a vast amount of experience and is very professional. We will definitely be going back. 😎🤘

We recorded our single and then decided he should be the guy to record our EP, we wasn't disappointed.

Hamish is brilliant! He is super knowledgeable about his gear, works efficiently and was really creative at each step of recording and producing our EP. He understood and got behind what we in Coffee Breath were going for and the record sounds great as a result. Hamish is a pleasure to work with, I totally recommend.

Hamish is an awesome producer, musician, sound engineer, web designer the list goes on! He takes care in everything he does as if it’s music that he’s written himself. This is a fun relaxed place to record but with the end product always being to a high standard. If you are thinking of recording I’d recommend a chat with Phoenix sound.

Recording has never been an experience I have enjoyed - I aways feel completely on edge and anxious in the weeks leading up to the session, then even more so all the way through. Hamish made the experience incredibly relaxed and enjoyable, all the while being professional. The studio is very well equipped with amazing guitar amplifiers, drum kits, cymbals, microphones - all of which Hamish has expert-level knowledge on. An incredibly professional and charming recording studio filled with all the necessities to pump out a great sounding EP. Hamish knows exactly what he's doing and will strive to achieve the best recordings. With a variety of amplifiers and drum equipment, Phoenix sound is more than fully equipped to provide a band with exactly what they need!
My band had our 5 track EP recorded here and we must say we're all incredibly pleased with how it's turned out!
