Writing your Will is probably something you have thought about many times but have put off for a variety of reasons. Despite it being one of the most important documents you will ever write, a staggering two thirds of UK adults have not made a Will. Dying without a Will can lead to severe financial difficulties and confusion for those left behind which could have been avoided if suitable advice had been sought.
DS Wills & Estate Planning offers a variety of trusts that can be incorporated into your Will to ensure that your assets continue to be protected after your death. Sadly, up to one in three women and one in five men will need formal care during their lifetime, with more than 500,000 people currently living in residential care.
These documents are just as important as having a professionally written Will. Whilst we look to get our affairs in order when we die we rarely consider the consequences of what might happen should we become unable to make decisions for ourselves, whether this is through dementia, or loss of mental faculties through an accident or illness.
Probate is the legal process whereby a named executor disperses the estate of someone who has died. An executor is legally responsible for administering an estate and distributing assets in accordance with the deceased person's Will. The Law allows you to nominate a family member or friend (known as a "Lay" executor) to dispense your will.

Danielle has recently reviewed our Will to ensure it was adequate and fit for purpose
and arranged a family member’s lasting power of attorney. She made the whole process very straight forward and simple at such a stressful time.
Would highly recommend Danielle she is very professional, knowledgeable and takes the stress out of such an important family need.

One of the main reasons I chose Danielle to write our last Will and Testament (in addition to her being super-approachable) was the fact she was a qualified legal professional. Will writing is not a regulated activity and we wanted the peace of mind that it was done properly and by a knowledgeable professional. Danielle was that and more, we have every intention of using her other services in the future.
Additionally, I will have no qualms in referring my clients who require her services to her business.

Regarding DS Wills. We had a complex situation in respect of our wills and associated legal matters. After our solicitor had failed to perform adequately we contacted DS Wills. We were highly regarded and our wishes greatly respected by Danielle who provided and superb professional service based on her clear understanding of our needs and what could be legally achieved. She guided us through a complex process in a highly competent professional manner yet retaining a level of friendship and support essential when dealing with sensitive and personal matters. I would highly recommend DS Wills to anyone
