We have several facilities at Florence and can cater for a range of events such as weddings, christenings, birthday parties and many other types of occasion. We have two function rooms that are available to hire on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, both day and evening. We can organise your day from catering, room decoration and entertainment.

The Florence Sports Centre astro pitch is right at the cutting edge in terms of artificial grass surfaces. The artificial pitch is made from the very latest in astro technology replicating the nearest thing to a natural surface. Our sports astro is floodlit which makes it suitable for day & night use.
We have a number of Football teams operating from Florence including a successful ladies team. We have 2 football pitches and excellent changing facilities. Our first team play in the Staffordshire County Senior League in the Premier Division. We have a number of youth teams playing at various age brackets in a number of local divisions.

The man behind the bar was unhelpful, rude, obviously didn't want to be there. It has been a nightmare to arrange as they changed the night after double booking, no help with helping decorating the room, they gave us 1 hour 45 minutes before the reception. Although it went well and facilities good I would not return. Need to cheer up or get another job.

I only went for a covid test, so can't comment on the regular staff as they weren't there, nor did I pop to the toilet. The venue however I know from old. This place has always been spacious, a stage, good length of bar if well staffed to prevent queuing and a magnificent sized dance floor for celebrations of that nature. I have attended all sorts of gatherings over the years, which it has catered well for in every way but its dated decor.
