We are an independent 'paint your own pottery' studio set in the heart of Putney, just off the Putney High Street. We love art and we love to nurture creativity in children and adults alike. Our beautiful studio provides a welcoming environment for artists of all ages. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help to ensure your time at Pitter Potter is both an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Services
Pitter Potter now hosts a weekly after school Clay Club during term time for children aged 6-12. Our club is a fun way to encourage your child's creativity and keep the mess out of your own home. The club runs from 4:30pm - 5:45pm on Wednesday afternoons. Over the course of the term, each child will learn the basic techniques of hand building and take home several pieces after they have been built, painted, glazed and fired.
If your question isn't answered below, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help you out. We charge a studio fee of 4.95 per painter per session. The studio fee covers material used during the session as well as the glazing and firing of your pottery. The studio fee is charged only once per session, regardless of whether you choose to paint one piece or multiple items.

I've been to a few pottery cafes but Pitter Potter has been the best so far! Everything was explained to us and there is a great range of items to paint.
I went with a friend and felt that this was great place for adults to enjoy too. The paint brushes were great quality which makes all the difference!
We created a ramen bowl and two kitty food bowls, which turned out to be very cute!

Wonderful time! The woman who ran the studio was very helpful, and the pottery turned out great. My friend's mug (with the face on it) turned out like a true work of art. My coffee mug was a little less professional but looks good nonetheless! We would have stayed longer but we forgot to bring some food. I think you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks etc, but double check with the manager.

What a lovely pottery painting cafe. We went this afternoon with our two little ones (2 years and 5 months) to do some hand and footprints on some christmas baubles. Nice atmosphere and the team was such a great help!!! Thank you so much for that lovely experience and the wonderful christmas presents.
