Peter trained at Harrow School of Art on the specialist studio pottery course established by Mick Casson and Victor Margrie in the 1960s. He works with stoneware and porcelain clays and aims to produce pots which are both functional and decorative, pots that give us daily enjoyment in their use. Peter specialises in hand-thrown pots which are fired to 1275°C in a gas kiln.

He is particularly interested in copper red and flamb glazes in the tradition of the Ruskin Pottery, as well as in producing vibrant blues and turquoises. Peter also works to commissions, from small orders for individuals to larger orders for a range of clients including restaurants such as Nobu.
