After a thorough foot health assessment, your toe nails will be trimmed and any corns or callus gently removed. Using modern technology and treatments, Davendra is able to provide the best podiatry solution for your diagnosis. All our treatments and assessments are affordable, and well worth the investment in maintaining your feet.
Corns and calluses are areas of thickened skin on the plantar surfaces of the foot or the tops of the toes. Corns and calluses develop from excess friction on the foot. Corns normally develop on the upper joints of the toes, while calluses generally develop on the underside of the foot. Corns and calluses commonly develop when excess pronation disrupts the normal metatarsal bone relationship in the foot, which causes the toes to claw.
A bunion (hallux Abducto-valgus) is a valgus deviation of the hallux, commonly associated with an Exostosis on the 1st Metatarso-phalangeal joint. Bunions are most commonly caused by forefoot adductus and excess pronation of the subtalar joint. Some bunions are caused by arthritis or trauma. Due to excessive pronation, forces load the medial forefoot area.
Ilio-tibial band syndrome is a common overuse injury in athletes. It's caused by abnormal friction and torsion of the ilio-tibial band over the knee and hip joints. This condition commonly causes a gradual but rather severe pain on the outside knee joint and less commonly on the outside hip section.

Called for an appointment for my son after being referred by a local chiropodist. Communication was excellent, extremely prompt and helpful.
We saw Davendra Patel who was excellent with our toddler who is sometimes very hesitant in such situations. Extremely helpful advice with a clear approach to managing the issue.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

I took my 14 yr old son as he has veruccas that won’t go. I can’t recommend highly enough. He was so careful and gentle with James. Explained everything he was doing as he went along.
I loved the fact there was no back round noise just peace.

I've had sore feet for twenty years
Went to Harrogate Footman for the first time this week.
Feels like I've been wearing new slippers for the last 3 days.
Excellent value for money and highly recommended. Stop limping and go see Davendra!
