Jayne and Janet are always available as your first point of contact each day once your child starts at nursery. They are available in reception, just pop in, telephone or e-mail. Also in the reception area you will often meet Tetley the nursery dog who spends his time behind the desks unless he is having supervised interaction with children in the setting - we will gain your permission for this on our registration form.

At Clare House we aim to provide a safe, happy and friendly environment where children can develop and grow, fulfil their individual potential and gain a sense of achievement whilst also discovering and mastering new skills in an atmosphere of warmth, care and happiness which will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

In Daisy Room we care for up to nine babies (at any given time) from 3 months to approximately 26 months. The babies and toddlers are cared for by our team of fully qualified & experienced nursery practitioners. We have a separate section for the younger babies to explore with floor cushions to promote the home environment.

Their room is the 'Bumble Bee's Room'. Our toddlers also experience our 'Sensory Room' and get to play in the 'Outdoor Play Area'. Our toddlers are cared for in their own cosy environment by qualified and caring staff. We work closely with you to maintain the child's home routine and keep you informed of any significant changes.

The Busy Bee Room room caters for children aged three and four. In order to promote a smooth transition into the pre- school room the child will be offered starter sessions. These sessions usually are one hour long, depending on the key person's opinion on the child's ability to settle, further starter sessions will be allocated if needed.
