My name is Julie Jackson GJC (Dip Reflex) MAR and I am a Practitioner of Reflexology qualifying in 2012 at the UK's largest reflexology training school, Jubilee College and taught by the Principal David Wayte FAoR CertEd CNHC. After receiving Reflexology myself and feeling the benefits I wanted to learn how to administer treatments myself and undertook the level 3 diploma course at Jubilee College and can now subsequently see the benefits of the treatments on my clients.

Reflexology is the ancient art of treating the body through the hands and feet, dating from thousands of years ago in China and Egypt. Reflex points corresponding to parts of the body are stimulated easing aches and pains using thumb and finger pressure only. Stressful stimuli can disrupt the body's harmonious state (known as homeostasis) and Reflexology aims to maintain this steady state, helping to prevent ill health.
A full-body massage usually includes your arms, legs, hands and feet, your neck and back and your stomach. The area around the breasts is usually massaged but not the breasts themselves. The therapy involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles.
