Zoe & John at John Hoole have been great through the process of selling our flat. Very professional, proactive and really importantly for us - human! John Hoole did a fantastic job in selling our new home to us this summer. They are quite simply the best estate agent in Brighton & Hove!
It was a fairly long and arduous process for us to reach completion on our sale and purchase, taking nearly a year from the point of finding a buyer. We had numerous prior purchases aborted by sellers, and we viewed dozens of properties over the period, so we encountered almost every local estate agent in the area. We experienced the usual failings from the other agents we dealt with, either in responding to calls; or not making attempts to conclude a negotiation

We were fortunate enough to be the buyers to a house that John Hoole were selling for their vendors.
Having spent a year previously, buying and devastatingly losing houses, we have now gained a lot of knowledge/experience with the real estates, and the market, here in Brighton. We experienced a similar experience, 10 years ago, when buying our first home in Brighton, when we left London - only that took 3 years(!).

From the initial property valuation to completion, John and Zoe provided a good quality service. They were always approachable, gave regular updates on progress and kept in touch with the buyers and solicitors. Their advice was sound and honest with no 'fudge' or harassment. Their were a few problems with our buyers property which was out of their control, but both John and Zoe kept us informed throughout.

John and Zoe were fantastic to work with in selling our Brighton flat. They had excellent communication with us throughout the process and, despite some serious and complex roadbumps on the way (not of their making!) they kept us up to date, and stayed on our side until we had satisfactorily completed. Zoe in particular was great at keeping things moving when things were stalling on the chain. Would definitely recommend.

Neither Zoe nor John put a foot wrong. They were thoroughly professional and always polite and helpful. I was always fully informed about what was happening. They provided a very personal service. When I rang the office they knew immediately who I was and what was happening regarding the sale. They focused not just on getting offers but also finding a purchaser who was in a position to complete the purchase. I would thoroughly recommend this agency.

At a really difficult time in my life, John was really helpful and was caring in selling my father's house and the plot of land he sold with it. Even if I couldn't get him in the office straight away, he always responded very quickly which was helpful as I had never sold a property before in my own right. He was always cheerful and it was great to have an estate agent who looked after me....and who didn't wear pointed shoes and bright blue suits! I would highly recommend this agent to others.
