Services
The West End Cafe has been in Llandovery for years and formed a central meeting place in this drovers town. Hi my name is Mark Vince and became a partner in the 'WEST END CAFE' in the spring of 1991,a fter 3yrs hard work I managed to buy the cafe out right. I can't believe where the time has gone!
Without diners and visitors we are nothing. We exist to serve our customers in a friendly and efficient manner and serve great food and drink in the lovely surroundings of our cafe. Our customers are from all walks of life which makes for a dynamic and interesting atmosphere in the cafe. From regular locals who know us for our good honest food to international visitors who just stumble upon us all are welcome and bring something to cafe life.
Our courtyard provides a secluded and safe outdoor area for our customers to sit, relax and dine in the open air. Accesed through the main cafe we have a large area surrounded by high walls to enable you to enjoy the great outdoors. There are tables and chairs together with large canopies to keep you protect from the wonderful Welsh sunshine or occasional spot of rain.
People meet at West End Cafe for lots of reasons, the food and drink plays an improtant part in making this place special and drawing them back time and time again. Our kitchens are headed by trained chefs dedicated to producing food and drink of the highest quality within the cafe environement. From a simple bacon roll to a three course dinner all are lovingly prepared.
Most days throughout the year you will find a selection of motorbikes parked outside the cafe and in the large car park opposite. Everything from classic touring bikes to real super bikes are assembled whilst their rides enjoy waht the cafe has to offer.

West End Cafe is a well known meeting place, somewhere to stop and chat to like minded riders all enjoying a snack, meal or just a cup of tea before continuing to ride out on the fabulous Welsh roads in the surrounding area.Whilst many may consider themselves able to ride few transfer to the race track to compete for real on motorcycles.

Overall a pleasant experience. Had two dragon breakfasts, a filter coffee, and a hot chocolate.
The breakfasts were fine, if a little over priced for what you get (toast isn't included).
The man who served us seemed perplexed at the idea of a dairy free hot chocolate.

Really great early morning breakfast. Such a change from a couple of years ago when it was bland and chilly. It's worth a detour and be prepared for a Big Boys Breakfast.

First time visiting here today. It was great!
Nice friendly staff.
We had the carvery and it was huge! Very tasty too! And they berry crumble was just as delicious for desert!
£22.50 for two carvery (one veggie) two deserts and two drinks!
Anyone who says this place is over priced clearly doesn't understand what it costs to pay staff a good wage and buy the stock, let alone heat and light the place!
We will definitely be back again. Thanks guys 😁

Nice clean cafe,
Bigger inside than it looks and reasonable food for prices that aren't a rip off.
Paid about 17 quid for 2 breakfasts, a Latte and a pot of tea.
Decent place to stop if you're passing.

Highway robbery £6.20 for a bacon and sausage sandwich. It worked out at a pound per slice of bacon and a pound per sausage
and a pound for each slice of bread (which was a bit stale) and 20p for suace. It was the best sandwich either. I will say it was a nice and clean cafe though.

Lovely find after the bleak Black Mountain pass. Very friendly staff and customers. Top notch food. We had the lamb carvery which started just as we came in. Great quality local food tastes as good as it looks.
Highly recommended.

We hadn't been here for a couple of years, and were pleased to see it was much improved. It used to be a real greasy spoon cafe, and although there were still some less healthy options they also had nice looking roast meals, some homemade cakes and more.
They have also developed their outside patio with a covered area which provided shelter.
Inside was really warm, no doubt from the cooking in the kitchen however the outside area meant we could sit outside despite the rain.
It is near a pay n display car park, however also has free street parking at the front (limited to one or two hours - cant

Very disappointed after our visit today. We often visit but today was by far the worst and not the normal service and quality we have experienced in the past. Poor quality food, extortionate prices and an infestation of wasps outside (granted this is out of their control). Will not he returning here.

Had a lovely break here from our travels. Great food, reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful. Parking outside is free for 30 minutes. The cafe was clean and tidy and staff cleaned tables, once customers had left. Would definitely go there again
