Services
Our Meglio seeded lawn turf is a high quality, weed free premium lawn turf based on a variety of fescues, dwarf rye & bent grass cultivars. The seed is imported from Holland & then sown in a perfectly prepared seed bed using our Blec Turfmaker. After twelve months preparation this fantastic turf is harvested to provide a top quality lawn turf with a short cut, uniformed finish combined with great durability.
Our soil is enriched with PAS100 westcountry compost. This blended topsoil has become our most popular soil product due to it's high nutrient levels. Our topsoil is available in 10 tonne tipped loads or dumpy bags. The bulk bags of soil can be lifted over walls hedges and fences providing the access allows it.
South Devon Turf operate one of the most technical advanced turf farms in the UK. Our equipment includes bespoke machines built in house and around the world, GPS guided tractors, a turf monitoring drone along with a fully automatic turf harvesting machine.
Our turf is grown using the best quality seed which we buy direct from the seed producer, This enables us to see the certification of cleanliness to make sure we don't grow the grasses that we don't want.We prepare a perfect seed bed with the Blecavator stone burrier powered by a 200hp New Holland tractor.

Most home deliveries are carried out using our smaller transit sized vehicles for easy access although we do deliver some orders on our lorry so please specify if you have tight access. We maintain a daily delivery schedule to cover South Devon & East Cornwall. Our usual lead time is 48hrs from time of order Monday to Friday.
South Devon Turf offer a full professional laying service. Some of our services include stripping and removal of your old lawn, full cultivation using various rotavators and other machinery. Final ground works and preparation and finally the laying of the turf. Further services are available including excavation and installation of top soil where required.

Can’t recommend this company enough. We are over the moon with our new lawn. From start to finish the service was brilliant. Was able to arrange delivery for when we needed it and the delivery driver was possibly the most helpful I’ve ever had even helping me load it into a wheel barrow to transport it to the rear of my property. As you can see the quality of turf matches the amazing service 🤩
