Our story goes back to 1921, when 21-year-old Egon Oldendorff became a partner in a small Hamburg shipping business, renamed Lillienfeld & Oldendorff. The business endured the hardships of two world wars and several financial recessions, but in the 1950s a freight boom saw the fleet rebuilt rapidly.
From a local focus in the Baltic timber trade, Oldendorff grew into becoming one of the largest drybulk shipowners and operators in the world. At 21, he had just come of age. The company was renamed Lilienfeld & Oldendorff and at the end of the same year, Egon Oldendorff took control of the remaining shares.

OD seeks cheap transportation services for crew change, I wonder why they purchase poor quality carriers for longer flights..this makes us sick..while they proudly talk about quality, they simply ignore that it starts within them. At least Qatar or Emirates would be fine rather than Turkish airlines..
