Services
I run a professional and friendly practice near Meopham, Kent and I am dedicated to helping you to achieve the change you want. I have always had a keen interest in people and their responses to everyday life and helping my clients overcome their difficulties truly matters to me and is something I feel very passionate about.
Modern lifestyles can be stressful, cause unwanted anxiety and sometimes trigger panic attacks. Everybody deals with some level of stress or anxiety in their life, avoiding problems rather than facing them can make them worse, sometimes to the expense of your health. When stress or anxiety becomes overwhelming, interferes with your everyday life or produces physical symptoms, its time to seek help.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS, is a common and sometimes debilitating condition of the digestive system, which causes stomach cramps, bloating, wind, diarrhoea and or constipation. The cause of it is unknown and the symptoms can vary in severity from person to person. To help manage the symptoms of IBS it can often help to make changes in your diet & lifestyle.
Hypnotherapy has been found to have a positive effect on reactive depression. The sort of depression that has been triggered by circumstances in life such as job or money worries, loneliness or big life events such as a breakdown of a relationship or ill health.

Most people go through periods of life where they feel down, but depression is where people feel sad for a sustained length of time, the feeling continuing sometimes for weeks or months rather than a few days.It can be hard to see a way out when you are feeling helpless, exhausted and without hope.
Fears or a phobia can be caused by an event, a circumstance, or you may not even know how it came about, but it can be something that you have suffered with all your life. If the issue is connected to something that could possibly be encountered in your daily life, or is something you need to do for yourself or your loved ones, it can have a huge impact.

I could not recommend Julie more. She is absolutely fantastic. I initially went to Julie with an on going mental block that I had been suffering with for years. I am a pole vaulter (athlete) and taking off became a big struggle for me and without taking off I couldn’t do the sport. She helped me over come this block and helped me understand ways in which I can help myself if I start to regress. Not only have the techniques that she taught me helped in my sport but also in every aspect of my life. Stress management is so much easier and I don’t get overwhelmed by things the way I used to. Each session with Julie was very professional and targeted to my individual needs, following my initial consultation. Julie made me feel relaxed and created a safe and comfortable environment. After each session I felt she helped me progress and also had given me tools to help me on a day to day basis. Highly recommended.

I've had several sessions with Julie for relaxation & anxiety which I found to be very calming. It made my life much easier to deal with and gave me more confidence. Once I'm ready I hope to return for some help with a longstanding phobia, I can't thank her enough for all her help so far.
