Services
I offer a collaborative experience in which we will clarify your unique needs and circumstances. We will be in it together each step of the way. My training as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and also a Relational Psychotherapist allows me great flexibility in how we can work with your situation, which I'm able to see through different lenses.
Send me an email, and we'll set up a time for a complimentary 20 minute phone or video call. When we speak, I'll get an overview of your situation and a sense of whether my approach is suitable for you. I'll answer any questions you might have and we can begin to get a feel for whether it's a good fit.
If you are in crisis or are worried about someone you care about there is a local NHS 24/7 helpline and crisis team. Find details online here. The Samaritans are a confidential space to talk about what is troubling you at any time of day or night. You can find them online here or phone them on 116123 free from any phone.

I sought help from Kirsty for about a year, a couple of years ago when I was going through a tough time with work and relationship issues. We met weekly initially and then spaced our meetings as things improved. Though I had had therapy before I learnt new things about myself and really valued the sessions.
I am not sure I would have got through it without her support so of course I highly recommend Kirsty.
Kirsty used techniques to take me back to difficult situations and replay them from an earlier or younger self perspective. She also got me to re-appraise what I was about; my values, my friendships

Therapy was tough choice for me as I knew it would be a challenging journey. I cannot thank Kirsty enough for being my support and guide on this journey. As my therapist, Kirsty offered me a safe space. On tough days in therapy sessions, she helped me to understand how I could ground myself, how I could build boundaries, so that my emotions did not overpower me. I am sure that each individual's journey through therapy is different. However for me, my greatest fear was the unknown, and Kirsty acknowledged this and kept me fully informed every step of the way. Therapy while hard work has changed

I sought the help of Dr Kennedy to address trauma associated with medical treatment that had gone wrong. Dr Kennedy has been invaluable in helping me process and move forward from this life changing event. With her help, I was able to stay in a demanding job, and keep 'up and running' through a very challenging time. I had a safe space in our sessions to work through what had happened. I am very grateful for her care, which was professional but with appropriate compassion. I felt heard for the first time in a long time.

Kirsty has been a lifeline for me as my therapist during some very difficult times, including everything the pandemic has brought, and I’m glad I found her when I did. Kirsty ensured our sessions still felt safe when moving to remote during lockdown and that I was supported despite how unsettling the world felt. I spent a long time trying to find someone who was the right fit for me to help me work on complex trauma and who I felt I could trust for long term therapy. I needed someone highly experienced with the right level of technical expertise, but also someone who could relate as a fellow

Kirsty seems to choose her clients following the £100 consultation and you will still pay regardless of whether she offers any help. No referral or formulation was offered when my partner reached out. I found her to be uncompassionate and condescending. My partner is now depressed but reluctant to seek help, but it is out there. If the same happens to you the HCPC should advise on the ethics of this.

I consulted Dr Kennedy over some months to ascertain whether my somewhat alarming (to others) absent-mindedness could have been the beginning of something more sinister such as premature dementia. She ran me through numerous recognition and memory tests and these, along with some extensive and penetrative conversations, proved that my problems were actually temporary in nature and were more to do with my psychological withdrawal during a period when my home life had become embattled. Her methodology was always precise and subtly sympathetic. I have not the slightest reservation in fully recommending
