At the Oakdale Centre we are only too aware of the multitude of pressures the current situation is putting on everyone. We are dedicated and determined to continue to support our clients in the best way that we possibly can as we are impacted by the constraints we are going to have to bear and the consequences of what is happening in our families and communities.
Oakdale Centre practitioners are continuing to deliver therapy. This is being done remotely as well as face to face at our centres in Harrogate and Halifax. Please don't hesitate to telephone us on 01423 503080 or email us at reception@oakdalecentre.org if you have any queries about an upcoming appointment or are a new or returning client.

Services
The Oakdale Centre was established in 1998 by a group of committed and passionate practitioners with broad experience within mental healthcare. We have developed a multi-disciplinary service with over fifty practitioners who have been carefully chosen for their qualifications and areas of expertise to provide a high level of clinical care.
My background is in behavioural science and psychotherapy research, working on research projects in NHS teaching hospitals in London. My clinical training is in relationship and systemic therapy.
I founded the Oakdale Centre with a group of colleagues in 1998 with a commitment to working within strict professional guidelines ensuring that the people who came to us were able to access the appropriate kind of psychotherapy for the difficulties they were facing.

At the Oakdale Centre we provide a wide range of evidence based psychological therapies for individuals, couples and families. In the first instance we offer a telephone assessment to work out together which psychological therapy and therapist will be most appropriate for your specific needs. Alternatively, you can send us an email and we will call you back at a time that is convenient for you.
The BUSS Model has been developed by Sarah Lloyd, a nationally recognised thought leader who has developed a new paradigm for understanding and working with children with developmental trauma. Sarah has worked with children and young people in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) for over 25 years.
