I have been going to VYS Nails for a few years now, as I live and work locally. I always have such a positive experience with them, the staff and V are so lovely and welcoming - they always squeeze you in and make an effort to see you. My manicures and pedicures are amazing and they last forever. I just went this evening, in Nov, and the last time I was there was end of September so my gel manicure lasted 6 weeks. I find the service excellent and shop extremely clean and safe. Thank you very much to V and the team. Georgie x

Critical: Professionalism
The manager is the most rude person ever, she does not allow to use machines on clients to do nails properly so, the shellac will last less !!! She always shouting and talking behind customers. On the other hand Mona is amazing !!!!!

They damaged and cut my foot badly. Lady who did it had no mercy to tell me, so I damaged the foot more when I walked from the salon. After I came back they told me that I would get discount on the next pedicure. It is 2 cm 5 mm deep cut

I call to book in the morning for nails and pedicure, they not only don't understand English but when I arrive there, they start to make jokes and talk in their language about my reservations.
At the end they sayd that was their mistake and started to do their job, but always talking between them.
The nail colour was the worst quality..., I know the owner she is always nice and grateful but when she isn't there I always received the same
treatment . Deffinetly I will not going back.Such a shame since is just across the road 😓

I came here to have quick pedicure today and surprised of their service and quality.
I can say I am pretty happy with their service.
Not just for the pedicure but also for foot scrubs and generous massage.
I will definitely come back here!

My sincere advice to all people do not go to this shop and even pass by.

Today I just pass by this salon, and a large bucket of water with cleanser pouring on me. I cannot believe that I walk on the street and I will drench from head to toe, the more disgusting thing is, the staff of this salon, an old Asian lady who never said a word about sorry but just excused.

She was always murmuring that she did not see me, but that is public area, I have right to walk on there, but she has no right to make a person drenched, and she even don't try to give me any help even if she made this thing happened

Rude staff. I would not recommend this place. I use to go until I finally found another nail bar near by. The staff there generally are very short-tempered and rude! Not that I ever asked for something unreasonable or complained about anything. Only because the slightest comment would throw them off. So unprofessional.

I went here once and I definitely won't go again. I found the behaviour of some of the staff extremely rude and the environment of the shop was really messy and unorganized.
In addition, telling your colleague off in front of the customers and not making notes of the appointment changements, telling your customer that you won't re-do her nail polish if it is damaged, and constantly speaking a different language in front of the customers are very unprofessional behaviours in my opinion.
Even though the lady who did my manicure did a great job and she was very kind, I definitely can

I've been walking past this place for about a year and every time I thought to go in to get my nails done something held me back. Today I was desperate so I decided to see if they'd accept walk-ins. Turns out they do but the male receptionist was rude. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but whenever anyone came in and had to deal with him he was rude and sarcastic and made snide remarks and I found him completely off putting. At one point he was actually laughing at customers while he and his colleagues made comments (presumably about the customers) in another language

This place is a joke! Very rude staff and incompetent. I had heard about that from other ex customers that live in the area but now I can say I have experienced that myself. In terms of service very slow and slightly more expensive than California Nails. I would not go back to them even if it was free!!!!!!

3.5 stars, rounding to 4.

Until I went here, I never realized that I classify my pedicures into the "medical" and the "relaxing" buckets.

Vy's most definitely provided a medical pedicure.

They were able to fit me in last-minute, which was a welcome relief for my sad-looking feet that were desperately in need of some first-pedicure-of-the-season TLC. My pedicurist was unfazed by the state of my feet and readily got to work making them beach-ready.

And she worked. And worked. And worked. It was the longest, most thorough pedicure I've ever had. We're

I used to go here every two weeks to get my nails done, but I got so sick of their inconsistency that I changed salons.

This may just be me, but I hate it when the employees in a beauty salon speak another language to one another. Don't get me wrong; I was a languages student and I love learning and hearing about them. However, when I'm there getting my nails done or whatever, I find it pretty annoying when they all start speaking in a different language so that you can't understand them. You know that they're talking about you and the other customers there, but you don&apos

Walked in on a Sunday morning. They were able to see me immediately. Very clean and professional. Anna was my manicurist; she was attentive and not too aggressive digging around my cuticles. My nails look great!

Really happy I found this place as moved to London 6 months ago and had some very disappointing experiences until now. I will be back...

A very suitable manicure!

I popped in spur of the moment as I walked past and figured I'd give it a try. For the record if you don't specify, you'll be given the basic "express" manicure, which is totally fine...but for +£2 you'll get massage, hot towel, lotion, "perfect" polish (no idea what the difference is there) etc...so, that seems worth it! For £20 you'll even get parrafin. So just specify which type of treatment you'd like. On this particular day I just wanted to get in and out so the express was fine by me.

Vy and her team are very nice and genuine people. Though I was surprised that my latest manicure had couple of problems - 1) there are tiny bubbles in the dried polish, 2) the polish started peeling/chipping after 3 days, 3) it was a poor filing/buffing job because the couple of the fingernails had jagged edges. I will give the team another chance to make sure it wasn't a one off bad experience.
