Based near Peterborough we cater for events, parties and functions across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Northamptonshire and Rutland. Richard Jones has always loved cooking. While still a successful engineer, he started to cook for family gatherings and the response from everyone was the same: you should do this for a living!

It all started for us with our hog roasts and they were a hit from the beginning. There's something very sociable about the ancient tradition of sharing in roasting, carving and eating a quality pig.

The Fenland Roaster provides high quality, great value wedding catering from our base near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We like to think of our style as 'social catering' with a friendly, slightly informal feel to what we do. This approach is really popular at the moment, with many people wanting to shape their wedding to their own style, rather than be stuck with a venue's standard (and often very expensive!)

Richard and his team provided the catering for our wedding reception. From the initial meeting to discuss what we needed until the actual event (which due to Covid was about 18 months later) everything we wanted was delivered in a professional and friendly way.
The hog roast was amazing with most people going back for seconds. The side dishes were equally great especially the rice salad. The evening buffet was also of the highest quality with plenty of choice to suit everyone.
I would thoroughly recommend using his services.

Absolutely love the chicken balti pies! All of the pastries that I have tried so far have been great. The subs/bread rolls were also fantastic. There always seems to be a nice range of goodies as well as some essentials. This has saved additional trips to supermarket a few times for me already.
