We offer air conditioning re-gassing, brake repairs, exhausts repairs, coolant changes, cambelt replacements and battery fitting, to name just a few. We can repair all makes and models of cars, vans and light commercial vehicle and are well equipped to handle any job - no matter what size.
An MOT test is required once a year on cars, motorcycle and light goods vehicles that are more than 3 years old. The test is created to make sure that the vehicle is properly maintained and adheres to important safety and environmental standards.

At Jarrow MOT Centre, we provide cambelt replacement as well as timing belt kits for our customers. The timing belt is one of the most important components within your engine as it controls your engine's timing. Every vehicle needs a cambelt replacement at some point due to daily wear and tear. By using a timing belt kit, it can help to get the job done properly and is easier to use.

Extremely honest Garage. Have been using these guys for a couple of years for service and MOT's with no problems and they also pick up and drop car back off. Yesterday afternoon I spotted an oil leak and although they were crazy busy just before Christmas they got me straight in today. Just dropped car back off and charged me £20 !!!!!!!!!!!!! £20 English pounds !!!!!! Can't quite believe it, was worried it would be hundreds and again they picked up and dropped back off. That in itself is probably worth 20 quid. I worry about garages ripping me off as I haven't got a clue about cars. Trust these

I used this garage for a service and MOT having been recommended by my friend. Prior to coming here, I visited a different garage and was advised that my timing chain needed replacing and was quoted £370 to do this. I was sceptical about this, as my car has had this done before and is only 7 years old. I advised the mechanics of this suspected repair when dropping my car in, however it passed and is performing so much better, costing only £170.
Not only this, but when I returned late to collect my car to find the garage closed, (having left my bag/money at work) i managed to contact the company

Went to get air con gas topped up. After top up mechanic found out pump was at fault. Instead of just charging for repair they advised me that I could probably have the repair done under warrant at the garage I purchases the car from. They then offered to remove the air con gas they had topped my car up with so I would have had no charge. As it happened I told them to leave the gas in, I would pay for that then contact dealer for pump repair. EXCELLENT

Had my MOT and Full service done, absolutely professional service and really pleasant to deal with! Was nearly running late due to the person taking over from me on a shift (I work in care), and they were immensely understanding. Will gladly be going through you guys again! Thank you all so much :)
