It provides the population of Barnet and its' environs with a much needed Shopping Centre. Ideally situated in a prime position at the heart of the High Street and easily accessible from the M25, it fulfils the needs of a busy and growing borough. The Spires takes its name from the remaining spires of the old Methodist church, where the centre now stands.

The designers have cleverly retained these architectural assets and incorporated them into this modern centre. The centre comprises over 90,000 sq ft of retail space divided into 37 units, which includes a supermarket and two restaurants and is served by a multi-storey car park. Two enclosed malls lead into open courtyards at the heart of the scheme.

The Spires would be a whole lot better if they would get on top of the parking problem there. Every NCP parking meter in the Spires out of order today. Parking there is expensive, many people cannot manage the machines, particularly the elderly. Many older visitors do not have smart phones, so they cannot load the parking App. I don't want to load it. Last time I shop in Barnet with my car. It's my nearest place to shop, but I am heartily sick of the parking expense and difficulties.

No real decent shops otherthan Waitrose. Savers has a lot of products missing on shelves.

It's lovely place to hang out with friends for a Costa Coffee or for Gelato ice creams or just shop in Waitrose or H&M or Card Factory or The works or Savers and many more budget friendly shops

I've lived in Barnet for nearly 10 years and it's sad how many shops have gone under in the spires but I'm grateful for the big h&m they have there - hopefully bigger companies might help keep the spires amazing

Litetally no shops are even open any more. About 3 or 4 pop up phone acessory shops and a 2 floor h&m. Thank god for the stunning florist at the back of the centre or rhis place would be pointless to visit

Very Dull and tired looking area, takes you back in time.
People are not very friendly.
Clean place.
Car Park Meters are always causing problem and un approachable management for the parking.
I had to walk around for 30 minutes to find a machine which works and got charged extra.
2nd time it took three payments from my card.
Really mis managed place.

Waitrose
Savers
Costa
Gym
Books store and more
Staff are really friendly too
I love the Waitrose store i get all my ready meals there after a little walk to savers
Located in the centre of Barnet High street
Where you can find other store like Iceland Sainsbury Greggs
