We are a family run business based in Southend On Sea in Sunny Essex, with over 40 years' experience, in breeding training, and the welfare, of dog's cats and various animals. We only use human grade chicken in our raw dog food, sourced from Defra Approved plants. Our chicken mince has nothing added or taken away, we mince the whole carcase of the chicken including the skin and we do not sell rib cages as carcases as many others do.
The reason they do is they cut off the meaty backs and sell these to restaurants for chicken soup, mincing only the low grade rib cage with very little meat content, hence the prices of their products. The Reason we ship in batches of 10 Kilo is that we have carried out rigorous testing on a multiplicity of moulded high density polystyrene boxes that have been designed with portability in mind and offer an efficient and cost-effective means of protecting food in transit while preserving temperatures, ensuring your meat arrives at your door frozen.

I came to Graham at Nicholsons raw animal foods just before Christmas, my golden retriever suffers with a skin condition, hair loss and bald patches after going to many different vets and being prescribed different treatments ranging from anti biotics to a range of supplements I came to the conclusion that it just is what it is and it’s something me and the dog would have to live with, I happened to bump into a fellow dog Walker on the beach and they recommended that I should feed raw and suggested Nicholsons Raw Animal Foods, So I done some research on there website and was blown away by the

Excellent online ordering and delivery service. The carcasses are individually packed in pairs, which makes for easy defrosting. Also they are extremely generous in size, so half of one of these is more than enough for my dog's breakfast. Note with their postage that their charge is the same up to 20kg, so make larger orders if you have the freezer space! Very responsive to customer contact. A quality family business that is a pleasure to spend money with.

Not very helpful😕 very patronising, Limited range, Tried asking lots of questions about their products, made me feel like I was an inconvenience, brought some to try, Weighed when I got home supposed to be 1k tubs all were 900g or just over, suggest you check weights!!! Shop around plenty of other raw dog food provided with a much friendlier attitude
