I have been here roughly six months during which time I have been treated with respect and care. It is not easy to come from home life especially at age 91. I have been here for nearly 5 months and the staff from the bottom to the top are helpful and kind. Obviously it is not easy moving to a different environment but the staff are so good and helpful.
If you like a room she will liaise with the homes manager's Nicky and Laura to assess your relative, who can visit if he or she likes prior to admission. We moved our mother in a few days before Christmas in 2014. We had seen many homes, many far superior in decor & facilities but in Ashtonleigh Residential Care Home we felt that we had found a 'home'. We have found the staff to be efficient, knowledgeable & thoughtful, but more than that we have felt that they have truly cared for our mother.
