Within part of an old Victorian school building is a treasure trove of RAF memorabilia and aviation art. The extensive private collection was the result of one man's passion and pride at having served in the Royal Air Force.

It has become an invaluable record of how the second World War impacted upon a small market town such as the 'Wings for Victory' appeal, local prisoner of war camps and the encampment of USA's Super Sixth Armoured Division prior to the D Day landings.Today we welcome visitors from around the world, many of whom have relatives that were trained at Moreton or similar bases.

Nice little museum cram-packed with items relating to local and greater RAF history, you need to go round twice so you don't miss anything. A little lacking in context for some of the items but still worth a visit as some of the pieces are little gems of aviation memorabilia.

This is an absolute mine of interesting and unusual artefacts relating mostly around the Vickers Wellington aircraft of the OTU based at RAF Moreton in Marsh... But it is so much more in such a tiny space! How they crammed as much as they do into effectively 2 rooms is astounding! Well worth a visit just to see the amazing parts that are continually collecting. Thanks guys👍

I think it's a fantastic place considering it started with a person was just collecting all the exhibits
But sadly the man is passed away so the son has kept it up in honour of his Dad
Well done for keeping it open and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be glad to be going back here in the future
My regards to you and all your staff

A small museum, very well maintained with the history of RAF in Moreton in Marsh. You can't help but notice the wheels and propellers of the aircrafts used in that era.

A lovely small museum with a personal touch. There is a great density of items on display inside. Definitely worth a visit.
