On-track Aviation
On-Track Aviation Limited was formed in 1997 by Alan Newton and Mark Young and operated within an already established flying school in Oxfordshire. The training courses were aimed at the PPL initially but a decision was taken in 2001 to specialise in training for professional pilot qualifications only.

On-Track Aviation was the first Approved Training Organisation (ATO) specialising in Part Time Instructor Courses. In addition On-Track Aviation is unique in the UK as it is the only ATO offering Seaplane Instructor Courses on single engine aeroplanes as well as training and testing for the SEP (Sea) Class Rating and the Seamanship Examination.

Just had the two day Instructor Revalidation Seminar at Ontrack. I certainly feel I’ve gained a lot by attending. All of the sessions were relevant and well presented, and the expertise on hand was unmatchable. Highly recommended! R Francis

Just completed my Close Formation Flying Course with On-Track and the training was absolutely brilliant. The knowledge, experience and skills of the instructors, Steve Oddy, Peter Thompson and Alec Trevett was second to none. Briefings, debriefing and tuition giving whilst flying was extremely informative and helpful. The course was fairly… fast-paced, but all students were capable and able to keep up and it helped keep the focus on what we were learning. Debriefing sessions were great for gleaning important tips and information. A thoroughly enjoyable and exciting course. Great to hone

Pure professionals. They quite literally wrote the book on modern flying instruction.
