Here at Wild Monkeys Childcare we are unique! We aim to provide a homely environment, similar to a childminder, in harmony with the developmental and social opportunities of a nursery - the best of both worlds! We are also one of only a handful of nurseries in the local area offering Forest School provision!

We work from our wonderful setting in Peacehaven with a team of highly qualified nursery practitioners. We use the whole property for the children. We have a fully enclosed 140ft garden with plenty of toys for the children to play with. We are based close to local schools, parks, shops, and the number 14 bus route.
This document outlines the eligibility criteria for the new 30 hours funding. We offer the 15 hours funding for all 3-4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. We also offer the new 30 hours funding for eligible 3-4 year olds. We have several different options for partly and fully funded places. Our fee structure outlines these.
All the children we care for are offered healthy, great-tasting, homemade meals. Our Food Co-ordinator, Nicky, creates our seasonal menus to meet nutritional guidelines and taste great. The meals we provide are made in house by the staff and follow strict food hygiene guidelines. We make sure to provide suitable food for children with allergies and/or special dietary requirements.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Framework is in place in our setting. We use this as our guide in providing the best childcare experience that we can for your child. It also aids us with supporting your child's development through observations, planning opportunities for learning, and planning activities to help your child prepare to start school.
Here at Wild Monkeys Childcare, we offer a wide range of different ways for children to learn. One of those ways is our Forest School provision! Our Forest School Lead, Rachelle, organises fantastic Forest School sessions on a regular basis, as well as our wonderful garden which the children have access to.
