Recently purchased 4 medium sized boxes of the handmade chocolates 3 for gifts as I had previously bought these and they were delicious ....so thought they would make a lovely Christmas present ....very disappointed this time around not a lot of flavour to them at all....as much as the first time around 🙁

Staff are so friendly at the Wetherby cafe! Always happy to help, nothing too much trouble and then there’s the cakes…..🤤 junkyard brownie, Victoria sponge cake, Jaffa brownie, and the scones, oh the scones!! An afternoon cream tea with a cherry scone 😍

My wife and I attended the coffee shop earlier this afternoon with our baby daughter, unfortunately the reception we received was hardly welcoming. I asked the lady at the till if we could take a seat and was met with a grimace and an inaudible reply. Taking a seat I approached the counter and asked what cold beverages were available only to be met… with yet another inaudible reply, a poor attitude and a hand gesture towards the fridge in the corner. My wife, daughter and I immediately left the shop and took our business next door. First time in the shop, won’t be returning, hardly

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to say what a complete waste of money. We must of got them on a bad day because both the hazelnut brownie and triple choc cookie cup went straight in the bin after one bite. Sorry but far too dry and bland for me. After seeing all the 5 star reviews I’m wondering if I’ve got the right place 🤔

This lovely cafe not only has delicious food and drink but the staff are amazing. A mother and her crying son came in and they didn't bat an eye lid but were calming and helpful. I attended with a lady who has dementia and the staff were so helpful and kind. Lovely to see.

Set up and ready for the day now after a lovely breakfast of toasted tea cakes, accompanied by friendly chat and good tea and coffee. Oh, and the sign to the loos made me smile!

Bought 4 cakes at Malton food fair ...only had the coconut tart so far and daughter had Oreo brownie ...both absolutely gorgeous x

Had a biscoff iced coffee today, made by Sharon. This is a must try. Wonderful service all round!

Popped into Wetherby and found this great place to sit and have a drink and a tasty indulgence called Costellos bakery.
Great service really helpful and friendly. Their milkshakes must be tried best I've tasted so far in North Yorkshire. Using their homemade ice cream and Milk from Jersey to create a truly great milkshake. The cream and flake on top just finished it off wonderfully. If you go to Wetherby you must try Costellos bakery.

We ordered brownie mixed boxes for a work social event. The team were absolutely blown away by the brownies. They were utterly delicious, the variety was brilliant and they were excellent value for money. Delivery was also seamless and everyone in the team received their orders well in time for the event. We are having another afternoon tea in a couple of weeks and will definitely be ordering one of your other selection boxes for that. I, for one, cannot wait! :)

I have placed a few orders with Costello bakeries and have never had an issue always delivered on time and exceptional quality and would highly recommend they are always my first choice well done

Although I am yet to sample your goods, I have sent 2 presents to discerning cake lovers and lets just say the tarts, brownies and black forest gateaux have had rave reactions. Customer service and delivery have also been excellent.

Beautiful cakes delivered to your door! Everything they make is delicious (I've tried almost all of it!) The truffle cake bombs are rich and luxurious whilst the sponge cakes are so light and tasty. The coffee cake is the best I have ever tasted!

I ordered a Variety gift box of cakes for my daughter. Not only were the cakes amazing, customer service was efficient and friendly. Louise was extremely helpful. I will certainly order again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

I'm glad I found Costello's Bakery online. To start off, their website is easy to navigate so I had no problem finding what I want. Most importantly, I'm grateful to Louise and his team for the excellent customer service that they've provided. I wanted to surprise a friend and I am currently not situated in the UK, so looking for a cake shop was quite a challenge because I had to consider delivery schedule and some other things. They responded promptly to my queries and requests, and this made me feel assured that everything was being taken cared of. I appreciate the email updates I've received

I had a box of 4 brownies posted to me Monday, notified both when they were posted and again for delivery time on Tuesday which I felt was most efficient. The brownies are huge and round so no dry edges. My grandson chose the Oreo one which he declared the best 'cake' he'd ever eaten, my daughter chose the Cinder Toffee which she loved and I went for the chocolate orange but oh I had saved the best until last -Junkyard! I have never tasted anything so wonderful These brownies in their individual packets look great, so beautifully decorated but taste even better, My first time of having cakes sent

I got my first delivery of tarts and mini cakes yesterday and I was delighted. My husband and I shared a coconut tart yesterday, wow! Yummy, and gone in seconds. Today I’ve sampled the bakewell, which is truly delicious. Bakewell tarts are my absolute fave and this doesn’t disappoint. The website is really clear on their delivery process and the tarts/cakes come well packaged. The order came with a labelled expiry date on each box, around 10 days from when you receive them. Which is ample time to indulge in a box and share them with loved ones. Thank you Costello’s for the tart and cake deliciousness

Had some delivery trouble but Louise was efficient ensured that the intended recipients received their cakes. They were delighted. They’ve been much admired by their friends and family.
I have ordered more cakes for other friends (and myself) and will recommend this website to others in the future. Fantastic all round.
