Nationwide Fire Training
Nationwide Fire Training was founded in 2004 by Andrew Lee. Andrew gained a wealth of fire industry experience working in many different sectors of fire safety prior to founding the company. Nationwide Fire is now recognised as one of the leading fire training companies in the UK. When starting the company Andrews goal was to provide a service which had no limits and to ultimately provide a one stop shop for fire protection.

A company with service technicians and training facilitators that care and are motivated and do not have sales targets to meet which is rare in our industry nowadays. A number of training providers say that they have venues throughout the UK, which turns out to be a hotel conference room or car park where their aim is to deliver bespoke fire training?
Services
Our Fire Warden Training course complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Companies are now legally required to carry out a fire risk assessment, and part of that assessment covers the training of staff. We firmly believe that hands-on training provides the best and most useful way of learning, this course includes practical experience of live fires as well as theoretical training.
The regulatory reform fire safety order states that employers must nominate competent persons and train them sufficiently for the equipment made available to them in the workplace, this is why here at Nationwide Fire we think it is important to have theory and hands on training in use of fire extinguishers.
Manual handling errors and poor lifting techniques cause over a third of all workplace injuries, including repetitive strain injuries and limb/joint damage and pain. Good, practical manual handling training is essential to foster appropriate workplace practice and keep staff safe. Our manual handling training is flexible and can be tailored to the specific activities and equipment used in your workplace.
First Aid training can make all the difference when responding to workplace accidents and emergencies. Nationwide Fire Training deliver accredited courses in essential first aid, including the correct CPR technique to use on someone in respiratory and cardiac arrest. Nationwide Fire offer 1 day and 3 day courses as well as refresher and requalification courses.
Our one day EFAW course is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments; this course is in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. Candidates will receive continuous assessment throughout; candidates who are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
