Services
Flower paste used to make flowers, petals and any other models/small things that need to dry harder and be stronger than sugarpaste. Flower paste is also perfect to use with silicon moulds. A flower paste that is perfect to make petals and detailed flowers, and can also be used for other intricate sugar decorations.
Our 'bling' ribbon is a fantastic new product that can instantly add that extra sparkle to your cake. In a large variety of colours and patterns, there is always one to suit your needs. It comes in various widths and can also be cut down, using normal household scissors, to any size or shape you require.
We have made cakes for hundreds, possibly even thousands, of couples over the past 20+ years, with very happy results. We have a great range of wedding cake designs that you can choose from, or you may wish to use your own creativity to design a unique cake, or let us design your cake, personalised with your colours and theme.
The Cake & Sugarcraft Centre is located in Hedge End, Hampshire, just off the M27 motorway. We have a fully stocked shop with thousands of cake related items, from the smallest of cake decorations to a five tier wedding cake! With convenient parking we can be visited very easily, but if you are further afield you may wish to ring us or send us an e-mail to get in touch.
All of our 'S' code glitters are a solid colour with a high colour sparkle, so a red glitter will be a deep, red shade and the sparkle effect will also be tints of red for a bold, rich colour. All of our 'L' code glitters - the Laser glitter range are a solid colour but with small amounts of other colours added, this creates a striking effect and must be seen to be believed.

Fantastic service everytime I visit and so helpful during covid restrictions going above and beyond to help source required items. Barfoots cupcake cases are the best I have ever used ( no peeling ever !)and wouldn't use any others. Customer service is second to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble and always happy to advice or help source and stock more popular items if you enquire.

I’ve been using Janice Barfoot cake and sugarcraft centre for a few years now, they have always had what I want In stock and throughout lockdown Marc has been brilliant with getting stock and supplies in for me, offering doorstep delivery for my orders… nothing has been too much trouble… this shop is a fab asset to hedge end and to all local cake makers in the area.

Oh dear, visited this business yesterday and for the third time in a row they were not able to supply my needs for a wedding cake I'm making. Worse still the gentleman serving was ignorant of what a basic decoration was, i.e. large sugar pearls, one wonders what else in the cake supply business he has no knowledge of. No offer to try and source them for me either. Most alarming was the dirty and grease spot stained t shirt this man thinks is ok to serve customers in. Will not be using this shop again. I will take my business elsewhere where the customer comes first
