Haringey Shed
Haringey Shed is an inclusive theatre and performing arts company for children and young people. We provide a range of term time after school activities and holiday programmes as well as outreach work in the community, working in local schools, nurseries and community centres. We believe every young person, regardless of their ability and background should have access to a safe, respectful and creative environment.
Services
Our volunteers are the backbone of our work here at Shed. Without them, we would really struggle to exist. Their work is invaluable and we do our best to ensure that they feel at home with regular training and supervision from our Volunteer Manager, Ashling Foat. Hi my name is Ashling Foat and I am the Company and Volunteer Manager at Haringey Shed.
For 20 years Haringey Shed has been delivering performing arts workshops in Haringey and surrounding boroughs. We provide inclusive workshops where participants have the opportunity to learn performing arts skills in an environment where everyone is encouraged to realise their potential.

All Haringey Shed's projects focus on inclusion and group cohesion; encouraging groups to work together in a way that they might not usually have the opportunity to do.Individuals learn how to work as a team and respect each other by active participation. The workshops are fun and challenging with an implicit underlying theme of the importance of working together.
Haringey Shed has lots of ways for individuals or corporate sponsors to get involved with us and support us. Key facts about Nightrider London: Overnight bike ride in June Enjoy cycling pass more than 50 sights of London is this unique charity bike ride at night Choice of 100km and a 50km ride. I just wanted to tell you that we were all reminiscing last night about the great times the children had at Haringey Shed and what an impact it had on all of us. We went to look around the Brit school last night and they were talking about The Jack Petchey award and it got us thinking back to all the marvellous times the children had at Haringey Shed; the performances; the people; the fun.
