Services
LED lighting for commercial and domestic buildings is now mainstream. We look to bring you the latest innovations by designing and selecting products that are unique to us as well as ensuring that the products are easy to install and fit. Extended LED lamp range; including GU10s that can be used in enclosed cans, a lamp that can be dimmed using a regular switch and 2 colour changing lamps; one that is both cool and warm white and an RGB.
Our new Saxby Smart lighting range has built in software that can be voice activated and controlled remotely for an easier, efficient and personalised way of lighting your home, office or business. Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant devices, it's time to say 'Hello' to your lighting.
How to: Place a spot light between an object, i.e. a plant or tree, and the front of the house. How to: Place flood lights at the bottom of the outer wall and face them up. A good product to use for this purpose is the Maxi recessed LED ground light; you can tilt the light source to wash the light up the wall.
Change your outdoor lighting to PIR or Microwave fittings. These fittings will only turn on when the PIR sensor detects heat or the Microwave sensor picks up movement, as oppose to the light staying on all the time, which costs you a lot more money. Detection exterior lights are also a great choice for security applications, and with the evenings now getting darker earlier it's time to start thinking about this.
When it comes to commercial and warehouse lighting, choosing the correct light fittings for the right location is key. Ensuring that the lighting is sufficient for workers is paramount to their health and safety. Below, we've put together a helpful guide explaining which light fitting is best suited for the areas where the installation is taking place.

Avoid Saxby lighting. Warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on and you will have failures. Terrible company.

I would personally avoid any Saxby products. I bought some very expensive "marine grade" spotlights for a new patio (10 in total). Within a month, one of the units had failed. I rang them to see if I could source a replacement and they said it was discontinued, they also didn't have any other products with the same diameter cut-out so I now have to look elsewhere and start from scratch. Over £600 worth of lighting now useless and fit for the bin. Total waste!

I'm unaccustomed to writing bad reviews but on this occasion, needs must I'm afraid! So far we've bought two Saxby products and both have had to be returned. Fortunately it was no problem with the first as my husband had fitted the item, but the second item had to be fitted by a professional company and was then found to be faulty. The cost incurred £60 and when I phoned the company to ask if they would reimburse some/all of the cost was told the product should have been tested before being fitted!!!!!!! Both items were not cheap and don't expect this to happen on expensive items. We have got

Horrendous customer service and products are poor quality.
Had 4 x Severus lights (EL-40104) installed into a brick wall. 6 months on 2 of the lights were faulty. Had those professionally removed and Installed another 2 lights. Literally a few months on from that 1 more light has completely gone.
Saxby not willing to cover electrician costs to have lights removed and installed.
Very very disappointed.

Phoned their technical service and told that under counter lights where dimmable at at mains switch. But had to purchase an additional three switches to make them work. Means you need three dimmable switches around the kitchen to make them dimmable. In this case putting witches ontop of kitchen cupboards. It is the most stupid lighting system I have seen. Do not buy from these idiots.
