Since opening its doors in 1886 at a site in Wilford Road Coal Yard, Nottingham, Foster Industrial has been a family run firm. In the early years, original founder Joseph Foster used railway wagons to move stocks of coal via the London, Midland & Scottish and London North East Railways. The business grew and expansion led to a move to Castle Meadow Road.

We have been using Fosters since I was about 28 and I am now in my sixties but never so much as we do more recently, as we are now making a new steel product and during this long period we have not once had any kind of sloppy service, which is quite hard to achieve over this sort of length of time. Even now for example , if they say they will ring back, they do, and this is becoming rarer these days, so without hesitation we recommend dealing with this solid honest company.
