Just across the road from the lovely Cannock Chase and a great place to stop for a hot /
Cold Drink or bite to eat if you are out walking or biking in the Chase. There is limited car parking and the place was busy today. A great touch was the " garden sheds " where you can sit with your friends / Family ( space For about 6 comfortably ) if You want to be out of the cold ( or rain ) food ordered at the window but due to it being busy service was slower than probably usual and slow in clearing tables of used items. There is space to park your bicycle and they even allow you to turn up on your horse

Always lovely food here. Love the new outdoor cabins, great for sitting outdoors with dogs even when it's chilly.

Stopped here after a walk, granddaughter wanted chocolate cake and ice cream and at £4.75, to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Very expensive for what it was I had a scone and coffee which were both… lovely, and fresh. One poor girl doing all the work, whilst others standing around doing nothing, whilst tables are still dirty!

Nice place, ideally situated on the edge of Cannock Chase, plenty of parking and loads of ways to bike or walk to the cafe. Had drinks and ice cream, not overly priced. They have put in some nice sheds to sit in should it be raining, really good idea.

Springslade Lodge hosted a treasure hunt party for our 5 year old. In the run up to the party, Kay was so helpful, and on the day of the party she had all the children wrapped around her little finger. The children had a fantastic time, with fun and games in an idyllic setting. The sun was shining, but there were plenty of trees to offer shade. Perfect place for a party, would highly recommend.

Do try a snack or light meal here - before or after a walk on Cannock Chase. Ideal location, friendly and attentive staff, good food. Eat inside or try a private "beach hut".

Nice location very good atmosphere, plenty of car parking spaces on Monday afternoon, not great service, as they got our order wrong and didn't say any sorry, we ask for more sauce as not being offered and had to beg and keep saying thank you to the waitress but has no acceptance in return.
So won't go there again despite good food and atmosphere.
