Services
Bright Seed Textiles are husband and wife team Keith & Jane Jackson, based in Rock Village, Northumberland. We produce a range of high quality giclee art prints and greetings cards taken from Jane's colourful and distinctive needle felted Harris Tweed pictures featuring scenes from Northumberland, Scotland, Cumbria, British wildlife and birds.
A 10 minute stroll along the beach or the tarmac of Dukes Walk will take you into the heart of Whitley Bay, or to the historic and picturesque Saint Mary's Lighthouse. Artists both professional and amateur will love the view over Whitley Bay and the ever changing North Sea. The whole area around Links Gallery offers an unrivaled perspective and for that spur-of-the-moment flash of inspiration, painting materials will be available from our shop.

Popular gallery combined with a cafe, does not overlook the sea, actually at the back by the car park

Lovely to sit and have an authentic cup of Italian coffee and gorgeous pastry whilst admiring all the fab local artwork. Was tempted by a few mugs. Maybe next time. Shame about all the dogs that were running riot inside. Not the cafe owner's fault obviously, just the dog owners who couldn't keep them under control. Spoiled an otherwise lovely visit. Highly recommended (without the dogs obviously!).

Service with a smile even when under pressure. Politeness goes a long way. So much better than the beach facing competition who chose to ignore us as we waited to be shown to a clearly clean and available table. Good coffee too.

Good sandwiches, nice desserts, great coffee.
Usually able to sit inside or out, but why would you when you have the sea views a short 30 second walk away.
Happily come here for lunch and there is some parking.

We took the dog for a walk on the beach and were in need of a decent coffee, it was heaving and we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to sit outside and were served really quickly. Coffee was great, bacon ciabbattas were the best bacon sandwich I've had for about a year.
