Services
Group classes are suitable for all, and you are very welcome to join. Classes will include yoga poses, breath awareness, and relaxation, often incorporating meditation. Please contact me for further details or to book a space. Yoga workshops run one Saturday per month, to a theme or particular style.
Although restrictions have now been lifted, I will continue to offer online zoom classes alongside face to face classes. Please see the 'Book Online' tab for all classes, zoom and studio. Recorded classes are also available to rent for 48hours, for the convenience of taking a yoga class at a time that suits you.
Yoga originated as an ancient philosophy from India dating back thousands of years. In its current modern form, yoga is now widely recognized all over the world for its physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Yoga presents us with a guide for self realization, and introduces us to tools and techniques to use on and off the mat.
Yin yoga is a slow simple style of yoga, most of the poses are from lying or sitting, and usually held for longer periods than other styles of yoga. It is suitable for beginners due to its simplicity and lack of sanskrit names for poses, but is also very suitable for more experienced practioners, allowing them to delve deeper into the challenges faced with sustaining the poses for longer lengths of time.
Pregnancy is a truly magical experience, but does not come without it's difficulties and discomforts. Yoga compliments and enhances the magical, and aids the discomforts. Pregnancy yoga is gentle and nurturing, with specific poses designed for the pregnant body, to safely stretch, strengthen, and relax, leaving you feeling renewed and in balance.
