Scope of work: Create "something modern something cool" open plan living for a young growing family. We wanted to retain the overall proportions of the original house while extending the home with modern features. The front elevation has been revitalised with use of oversized glazing panels and dormer extensions that have been brought to ground floor level.

Shiv is very professional and easy to work with, he smoothly got our planning permission approved and worked with us throughout our project. He worked with us on the design and is very knowledgable throughout, Richmond council are usually difficult to work with, but Shiv managed it very well. We definitely will recommend him to our friends and family.

We found Shivraj at Origin through a friend and we have worked with him on the design of a one storey extension. We live on the other side of London from Origin, but Shiv has been very flexible in travelling to us or arranging meetings at his office. He has been very efficient in his dealings with us & the local council. We would have appreciated receiving full size architectural plans. He hasn't always been strong on follow up once our build started. However, his design meets our brief & we felt he provided value for money. If you live locally to Origin, he would be a good choice.

I needed to get drawings done for a Loft Conversion and found Shiv by chance. All I can say is that I was very fortunate as not only was he competitive but he took what I perceived to be a routine mundane job and made it a whole lot more interesting. He clearly has the technical skills but also has excellent people skills and is a real gentleman. We recently appointed “origin home customs” to help us obtain our planning permission for the loft, double storey side, double storey rear and 6metre rear. Shiv was shortlisted from several other Architectural Design firms based on his vision and enthusiasm for Interior and Exterior styling in addition to his expertise as an Architectural Designer. We went through countless revisions and plans - all without any pushback from Shiv - and ended up with a great Plan approved by the Council even though there was some strong opposition from neighbours.
