We are delighted to complete the transformation of an existing building in West London to a new Senior School for Fulham Schools / Inspired Education. The existing derelict courtyard has been enclosed to provide a light well in the heart of the building with circulation around this on all levels.
The Ground floor contains reception, kitchen and dining and classrooms, specialist subjects are located on the 1st floor, and 2nd Floor contains a large open plan space with provision for future subdivision. The facade has been also refurbished with new windows installed and a stone clad entrance and canopy.

Concept design options for an extension to a primary school in South West London including new classrooms, group rooms and ancillary facilities. The brief was to replace existing temporary units with a new building in the same location. We considered options including an extension to the existing school or new standalone buildings with classrooms in a row or surrounding a central atrium/breakout space.
Invited competition for a new primary and secondary school in Trier, Germany. Set into the landscape our design incorporates a stepped building on 3 levels, terracing the landscape and providing a fully accessible roof garden for outdoor learning. Natural light floods all levels of the building by means of atria connecting each floor.
On behalf of the Richmond West Schools Trust we worked on the internal reconfiguration of Twickenham Academy. A detailed review of the existing building and options was carried out with the Trust and the Education Funding Authority resulting in new plans for all floors of the building. Subjects will be arranged together and classrooms will accommodate 30 students in each.
Our design is for a school embedded and interlocked with the surrounding densely green spaces and landscape. The existing tree population is completely preserved and is strengthened with additional vegetation, so that the school is surrounded by a tree backdrop.
The two-storey high school clusters have a strong identity and are organized along an inner school street, a central spine organizing inner flows and facilitating direct access to the external areas. The learning centres of each cluster are placed as key features of communication and exchange into the central spine.
