Robin and Pat moved into Upsall Grange Farm in 1969 and started farming, building up a large pedigree dairy herd comprising 200 milking cows and young stock. Milk production was 1.5 million litres a year. In 2000 a sale of a large part of the dairy herd created the opportunity to diversify into the Equestrian sector.
Do you have a yard worming policy? Yes, drawn up by the yard vet on a regular basis - following a routine worming programme normally having all horses wormed on the same day. Is the yard very competitive in atmosphere? No, there is an age range of 6 to 65 years and this covers from those who prefer to potter to high-level competitors, we pride ourselves on our friendly family atmosphere.
We have 91 stables built in the American Barn style. Nearly all are at least 12 x 12 and are built within two large airy sheds. Access is from either end of the buildings with wide passages in between the rows of stables. This building has been specifically built as an indoor arena. It is 43 metres long and 31 metres wide or 140ft x 100ft.
The water complex has been constructed at the bottom of the woods making use of the natural tree cover and banks to create a interesting obstacle with many options, helping the novice and challenging the more experienced. All three courses run across fields and then into woodland giving a varied and challenging ride.

Lovely big yard with good sized stables. I have kept my horses here for over 15 years and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. With all weather gallop track address outside outdoor arena and a big indoor and off-road hacking around the country park there is always somewhere to ride. There is also a walker and round pen. Hay and straw are provided within the livery bill. It is a Diy yard but they can provide a livery service. With on yard instructers and monthy vets visits and two of the best farriers in the area its the yard to be on

We took our dog to an agility training session at this venue. It was a fantastic experience for Darcie (Our Dog) and for me. She can come here and really express her physical attributes. She is also dramatically increasing her obedience progression and confidence because of this class. The trainers are all great and friendly.
