Established in 1997 the Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre is a family run riding school and event centre approved by the Association of British Riding Schools and fully licensed with the local authority. Conveniently positioned between the A1M and A68, situated in the spectacular Wear Valley, we have a purpose built riding facility with a large competition indoor arena, floodlit outdoor all weather mnage and seated viewing areas.
We offer riding lessons, group lessons and private tuition suited for all ages and abilities. Our staff are BHS or ABRS qualified and we have a number of horses and ponies to cater for children and adults, from beginners to advanced riders. Weekly events include show jumping and dressage competitions and our Pony Club enables children who do not have their own pony to participate in Pony Club events.

Services
The Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre is dedicated to providing the highest standard of riding instruction for both children and adults. We offer private lessons, (one to one with an instructor), semi-private lessons (with up to two friends), and group lessons (maximum of eight riders). We also cater for childrens parties and special events.
During school holidays we hold Pony Fun Days, when children are invited to join us between 10am and 4pm to learn about the care of the horses, stable managment, participate in a riding lesson, play games and have fun! The Pony Fun Days are 45.00 per child per day. Places are limited so advanced booking is essential.
Here at the Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre, we are lucky to have some outstanding facilities, all of which are available to hire. We are situated in over 100 acres of beautiful open countryside in the midst of the Wear Valley, all within easy reach of the A1M and A68. We are surrounded by numerous bridleways and offroad tracks, and our buildings are purpose built for a riding school and event centre.
The Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre are proud to offer clinics from some of the best equestrian trainers. Anna, a member of the German Eventing Championship Team for over 10 years and winner of a Bronze European Medal, has competed at over 19 CCI**** events. Anna runs regular eventing and discipline specific clinics throughout the year at the centre, for all ages and abilities.

My 13 year old daughter has been a student at Seagold since she was 4. She now helps out at the stables as well as doing her regular rides and hacks. It's part of our family. I trust Mark and Scott and Anita implicitly with my daughter's care, it it the friendliest and safest place to become an excellent little rider. I cannot imagine a weekly routine where they wern't part of it.
