Services
Our pork is sourced from a local farmer who has raised free range pigs for many years. They now have a butchers shop and can supply us with all cuts. Pork steaks, sausages and bacon are always on the shelf but if you require something special just order in advance. We buy our beef from a local butcher who always buys at the Forfar market.
We specialise in low mileage vegetables at Milton Haugh. Whenever vegetables are available locally we will have them on the shelf - broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, purple sprouting broccoli, kale, spring onions beetroot, cabbage and of course sprout trees. For other product we head through to Glasgow fruit market.
Ballancourt - A small family run business which specialises in supplying delis and farm shops with fine French food. We stock some of their extensive range of pates and goose and duck fat for those perfect roasties. Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding Co Ltd - A must for anyone with a sweet tooth! The recipe for this traditional Cumbrian pudding contains only the best ingredients: pure cane sugar, free range eggs, fresh cream and butter.
There eggs are only available at certain times of the year, mainly spring through into summer. Supplied to us by a local farmer that lives only a few miles away from the shop. Again these eggs are all free range. You need look no further than our own shores for a wide variety of cheeses to fill your cheeseboard.
Why not sit back and relax in the Corn Kist Coffee House and indulge yourself in a selection of the finest prepared delights. All baking and soups are made of only the freshest of ingredients and made right here on the Corn Kist premises. Love The Corn Kist. Always get delicious food there & always fresh. They abide with the social distancing very well & when you pay you go through to the Farm Shop & they deal with everything monetary there. Everything is made on the premises so you know it's fresh that day & when you're finished your lunch you can have a wander around the farm shop which is on the same level as the cafe. The selection of oatcakes is good as there are lots of flavours to choose from.

The service was lovely, felt Very welcome in this local family farm shop 👌
If you are passing through don't miss out, I'll definitely be back.

I have been to Milton Haugh farm shop and cafe loads of times. Great food every time and the cakes are brilliant. I have bought pies from the shop to and they were also brilliant. It can be a bit harder to get in as a group of 3 or more usually because of reduced tables because of covid no problem for a couple though, they have a one way system in place

Thanks to the wonderful staff at Milton Haugh farm shop cafe who were nothing but brillant yesterday when we turned up without a booking with 6 adults & 9 children. The staff got us tables sorted, took food & drink orders all at different times & ensured we were all ok! Will def recommend to others. Was really lovely.
