Control, security, transparency and accountability of client funds are central to our business. Client funds are held in separate bank accounts specific to them and are handled by our experienced senior accounting staff in accordance with international accounting practices and RICS regulations. We ensure that our clients remain in control of their funds and have access to detailed financial information, accurate records and bank statements.
In 2009 we commenced our investment into the Danish real estate market, directly acquiring a large number of high quality real estate assets in Central and Greater Copenhagen. A mixed portfolio of 34 buildings was assembled with a market value in excess of 200 million across multiple sectors comprising residential, retail, restaurants, offices, managed office/co-working, student accommodation and industrial.
When our forefathers arrived in Kenya over a century ago, they identified a country with a strategic location, a well educated population with a strong work ethic and a business friendly environment. Today, Kenya has matured to be the largest and most advanced economy in Central and East Africa. We have been regular travellers to Kenya and enjoy a strong reputation in our community and beyond.
For over 50 years the company and its staff have been raising funds, offering time and providing guidance and encouragement to a wide variety of people and organisations. In order to formalise our charitable efforts, Marylebone has founded and registered a UK charity called The Lotus Charitable Foundation.
