Services
We strongly advise you purchase your own safety standard riding hat to prevent sharing ours. Horses have a lower core body temperature to us so struggle more in the heat than cold temperatures. Our horses well being is paramount and so is our volunteers so in extreme hot weather there will be changes to lesson lengths and the content maybe different to usual days.
We feel it is important for our horses that there work load is varied and the hours they work are regulated. Therefore, we ensure that our horses do a variety of work within our menage, indoor school, trekking tracks and cross country course to ensure they do not become sour and bored. A happy horse is a happy rider.
We offer a full and part livery service with exceptional professional loving care providing 24 hour supervision by qualified staff. Your horse's specific needs can be catered for as we understand your horse is a member of your family and you entrust us with his care. Our livery prices are set on a staggered basis dependent on the horse i.e. height, weight, age, breed and excercise.
We are really fortunate with our surroundings the local countryside lends itself to some great tracks for trekking - these help to bring a sense of independence and confidence to our more novice riders and a relaxed riding experience for more competent. We aim to be able to cater for a range of abilities; we have had a great deal of success enhancing intermediate riders' abilities and also for younger riders.

I booked a beginners lesson from this riding school today and I can honestly say it was such an awful experience and I felt really upset after it. Despite there being a number of horse riding schools closer to where I live I drove 40 minutes to get to this school as I had fond memories of beginner lessons that I had with another instructor (Lorna) years ago.
The lady who I had the lesson with not sure if she is the owner, as she deals with the mobile calls was extremely patronising. She constantly belitted me throughout the whole lesson, telling me she doesn’t understand why I am not getting

Well I’m still smiling hours later! After nearly 10 years out of the saddle I couldn’t of had a better experience! My daughter rides here each week and I felt like I was missing out so I decided to book a private lesson and I loved each second of it! Thank you Lorna for making me feel so at ease and being so patient! Can’t wait for my next lesson!
