I began my journey in the funeral profession while at school, at the age of 14, after attending a family funeral some months previously. It was during that funeral that I knew this is what I was destined to do. I managed to get a school holiday job working for a local Knutsford/Northwich firm whom I continued to work for, full time, when I left school at the age of 16.
I started at the bottom gaining vital skills and knowledge in all areas of the work we undertook. On my 23rd birthday I passed the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing. Some 30 years later I still have the greatest passion for helping families who are faced with bereavement.

I just wanted to say thank you to you and your family for the understanding and professional care you gave to us as a family whilst undertaking the funeral of my father. It was done with a quiet compassion and we felt that we could ask anything of you and it would be done without any fuss or bother to us at this difficult time.
