Physiotherapy is a profession focused on restoring normal human movement and function to improve the quality of your life, whether this is to help you return to work, participate in sport or simply just to be pain free. We take time to listen to your condition, how your condition is affecting you, your work, home and social life.
Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue. Soft tissue is connective tissue, it includes skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (a form of connective tissue that lines and ensheathes the other soft tissues). Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma.
Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) more commonly known as Shockwave therapy is the application of shockwaves in medicine. The word extracorporeal means "outside of the body" which refers to the way the therapy is applied. Shockwave therapy is a non surgical treatment which works by delivering high energy sound waves to damaged or injured soft tissue to stimulate a healing response.

I cannot recommend Jay enough. I first came to visit Jay in July after suffering from very painful plantar fasciitis for 4+ months. From my very first appointment Jay gave me excellent advice and I then started a course of 3 shockwave treatments and daily at home exercises. When I first visited Jay I couldn’t put my feet down onto the floor in the morning without wincing from pain, now I am back to walking around pain free. Thank you for everything Jay!

Jay recently treated me for a lower back problem. He undertook a thorough examination, administered acupuncture as well deep tissue massage and prescribing a series of exercises. This has worked very well and I was more than happy with the results of just two visits. I can highly recommend Back to Fitness and will use them in the future if needed.

I have seen Jay a few times and he make you feel very comfortable. No question is silly and he makes you understand what's required to help you with your condition. After have little success at the doctors, Jay has identified my condition and pointed me in the right direction. Very understanding i will be using him again, along with recommending him to my friends. 5 Star

I first found Jay on a quick google search of local physiotherapists. First thing I noticed was how many positive reviews there were - very reassuring.
He has helped me overcome issues I’ve been having with painful tennis elbow plus muscular knots on my hamstrings and calves. From initial consultation (very thorough) to treatments Jay has been fantastic in his honest approach and enthusiasm to get me fighting fit again! My elbow feels a million bucks and my knots feel like they have evaporated, which is something that hasn’t happened with other therapists I’ve seen.
I’d recommend Jay

I Would Recommend Jay to anyone, in fact, I already have. I had limited movement and a lot of pain in my shoulder. I'm lucky enough to have medical insurance through work, and chose Back2Fitness as they had the best feedback, and I can see why. As a slightly awkward and totally uncoordinated 50 something who'd never been to physio before, I was slightly unsure about the whole process, but right from the start, Jay put me at ease and explained the treatment he suggested and why. From that first session, I could see an improvement in movement, and quickly got used to uninterrupted sleep. My treatment

Though my treatment is still in the early stages, it's clear to me that Jay provides an exceptional service, using a research based approach tailored to the individual. He is incredibly receptive to any questions or thoughts you may have and his knowledge in the field was apparent from the moment I first walked in.
With me, Jay is using a variety of techniques to tackle musculoskeletal/postural issues including acupuncture/dry needling, deep tissue massage, assisted stretching and spinal manipulation. He also provides movements that can be done at home and thorough descriptions as to why each
